GIVING MADE
EASIER...ACH: AUTOMATIC FUNDS TRANSFER
We want to
help make it easier to give to the church whether you miss a
Sunday, go on vacation or whatever the reason.
In
an effort to make 'tithing/giving' to the church easier,
we
want to remind you that
we accept
ACH.
ACH
allows
church
members
to
contribute to the church
by means
of a transfer directly from their checking or savings account to
the
church account.
This can
be done once or twice a month, on the 1st and/or 15th of each
month. There is no
set-up fee
or monthly service fees.
Complete these forms,
ACH
Application & Authorization Forms, and return to the church
office Business Manager to set this up with your local bank.
Why ACH? ACH
provides
a safe,
reliable, timely
way of
giving to the church. It makes it easier for the participant as
you
don’t have
to
worry or fuss with checks or cash. With ACH, your
giving/tithe is transferred directly
from your account and deposited into the church's account with
your name/ID credited for the tithe. ACH is
important to the church as it affords us a
standard, reliable source of funds with which to operate the
church's ministries and programs.

eGiving . . .
Franklin First UMC is now offering the congregation the ability to
make their tithes/contributions by using eGiving. eGiving is
an electronic payment mechanism much like online Bill Pay with your
bank. The following link:
Franklin First UMC eGiving, allows members to make their
tithes/contributions to the church's Operating and/or Legacy of
Faith accounts directly from their personal checking or savings
account, or by using their debit card. There is no cost to
you to do this. It is easy to use and there are simple
instructions on the eGiving link:
Franklin First UMC eGiving, to walk you through the process.
Why eGiving?
eGiving provides members the ability to make their
pledges/contributions at their discretion; at any time or place
be it vacation, traveling on business, or you find you are
unable to attend church for some other reason but want to make
your contribution. eGiving is a convenient, safe and
secure way for our members to make contributions to the church.
The funds are deposited immediately to the church bank account.
Please contact LaVerne Sweeney, Franklin First UMC Business
Manager at 794-2734 with any questions.
