Mission
Statement:
The First United Methodist Church, Franklin
community, will foster the faith journey of our children by providing Christian education,
fellowship, worship, and outreach opportunities in an atmosphere of love and acceptance.

CHILDCARE
is available on Sunday mornings during worship...Childcare can also be
available for church groups and meetings by following the childcare

FELLOWSHIP INFORMATION FOR CHILDREN
In our mission to help
children develop a deep relationship with God,
special events are held
for each age group.

Assistance is available for children with
special
needs to attend Sunday School. Please call Becky Peeler at 794-2734 and arrangements
will be made.
In response to the statement of Jesus
concerning children, "For to such belongs the kingdom of God," FUMC
welcomes children in its worship services. We recognize that children hold a special
place in the heart of God, and as a church we respond to the call that we love them,
are
patient with them, and intend to nurture them wherever they are.
Our church nursery is staffed
beginning at 8:30 a.m. each Sunday until the 10:30 service ends. Infants through age
3 are welcome in the nursery.
Children's Worship Bags and Bibles
can be picked up in the back of the sanctuary. Please return them following the
worship service.
Children's Church
is for kids ages 4 through 7 who attend the 9:00 service in Sanctuary East
and the 10:30 service in the Historic Sanctuary. We meet every
Sunday morning, except on Communion Sundays (first of each month). If you would like to
help or would like more information, please call Becky Peeler, 794-2734.
