Your Children

At Franklin First United Methodist Church, children play an integral part in all aspects of our worship and activities. We celebrate them as children of God and offer a place of love and care to them and their families.

Worship

Franklin First UMC welcomes children in its worship services. Worship held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in both Sanctuary East and the Historic Sanctuary. Children’s bulletins and worship bags are provided at all services.

Nursery

Nursery for children three and under is available during Sunday worship services. Paid and volunteer caregivers make up the caring staff on Sunday morning. Classes are located on the first floor of the Education Building.

Sunday School

Sunday school is offered for children age 2 years – 6th grade during both our 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. service. Classes are located on the second floor of the Education Building.

9:00 a.m.

  • Ages 2 years-4th grade will follow a traditional teaching method using “Rock Solid” curriculum of the United Methodist Church.
  • Tween Ministry-5th & 6th graders will live B.I.G. (Belief in God) in this new ministry designed just for this age children.

10:30 a.m.

  • Ages 2 years-Kindergarten will follow a traditional teaching method using “Rock Solid” curriculum of the United Methodist Church.
  • 1st-4th grade classes are located on the second floor of the children’s wing. Immerse your children in the Bible using a blend of teaching models. The curriculum uses a unique format where children will rotate to three different deeper learning optons and a home room during each quarter.
  • Tween Ministry-5th & 6th graders will live B.I.G. (Belief in God) in this new ministry designed just for this age children.
