Martin Methodist College’s Academy for Congregational Leaders
Are you looking for ways to be faithful to God’s call? Are you seeking to strengthen your life as a disciple of Jesus Christ? Are you searching for a spirit-filled ministry in your local church and want to be better equipped to serve your church in effective ways? We invite you to join us! We are offering a leadership building program for people engaged in Christian service in the church.
You are invited to a basic course of study (The Core Courses) in spiritual formation and discipleship, biblical foundation for leadership, theology, worship, Christian education, and United Methodism. Building on the basic course of study the Academy will offer the specialization tracks in the areas of small-group leadership, teaching, youth ministries, older adult ministry coordinators, administrators, care-giving ministries, evangelism and many other fields. With this program, our Academy graduates will be leading in congregations in the various fields God has called and gifted them.
Servant-leaders from all walks of life are invited to participate. We anticipate that you will love our courses and benefit from the support network of people, who like you, are seeking to better serve Christ in the community. Martin Methodist College is committed to equip believers by means of theological education, practical know-how, and spiritual development through the guidance of distinguished faculty and experts in their fields.
I hope you will explore this catalog and find a “ministry emphasis” that fits in your own journey to be a leader in ministry. If I can help you along your spiritual journey or with any questions, don’t hesitate to call me. I am eager to hear from you.
Peace and Grace,
Domenic Nigrelli, Ph.D.
