Congregational Care
“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2
The purpose of congregational care at Franklin First UMC is to witness to the love of God, to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, and to strengthen the Body of Christ through systematically bearing one another’s burdens.
While we know that care for another person primarily is an act of love that one individual offers to another, we do have organized ministries to prepare us for caring for one another beyond existing relationships.
