GriefShare
If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you have probably realized that many people do not understand exactly how you feel. It is difficult to be optimistic and think of your future when your heart is broken. This can be a confusing time when you feel lonely and have many questions about things you may have never faced before.
GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you get through these challenges and move forward in your life. There are three main parts to Griefshare group meetings:
1. Video Seminar with Experts
2. Support Group Discussion
3. Workbook-based Personal Study and Reflection
You may begin attending the GriefShare sessions at any time. Each session is different so you do not have to attend in sequence. You can continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week process to view any videos and discuss information that you have not yet seen or heard. This GriefShare group is best suited for those whose loss has not been within the past 6 months. There is no cost to attend.
GriefShare will begin meeting on Wednesday, May 25 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in Room B210 at the Franklin First United Methodist Campus downtown.
